I'm Sohail Yousaf. I turn raw footage into launch films and social edits that move people.
My name is Sohail Yousaf, a Pakistan-based video editor and colorist who tells brand stories through rhythm, pacing, and light. I cut my first edits on borrowed school computers, pairing VHS footage with royalty-free tracks, and I have been chasing that feeling of crafting emotion from raw shots ever since.
Over the past decade I have partnered with founders, agencies, and artists to ship launch films, docu-style campaigns, and high-energy social packages. Clients send drives full of unsorted clips; I deliver cohesive narratives that feel intentional and on-brand, whether the delivery needs to premiere on a keynote stage or in a vertical feed.
My workflow is built around collaboration. I start with discovery calls and script outlines, move into selects and radio edits, and iterate quickly using shared review platforms. Inside Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve I obsess over color balance, sound design, and motion graphics, ensuring every frame supports the core message.
When I am not delivering for clients, I mentor up-and-coming editors and share breakdowns of my timelines, LUT stacks, and project files. Teaching keeps my process sharp and reminds me that storytelling is a craft we grow by passing it forward.
